Spring is here, and you know what that means: the New Orleans festival and event season has begun! To that extent, we would like to formally invite you to enjoy a NOLA vacation this May; while here, you can take advantage of two great events: Bayou Boogaloo, and the NOLA Wine & Food Experience!
Bayou Boogaloo: May 19, 20,21, 2017

Music, food, art, handmade goods, and activities all in one event? Count us in! Bayou Boogaloo brings all this and more to the banks of the historic Bayou Saint John River. Meander about the grounds, shopping for creations by talented local artists in the Art Market and delicious offerings in the Marketplace, while three stages of diverse music fill the air. Hungry or thirsty? There are nearly as many food and beverage sellers as artists in residence at this premier NOLA event.
- A full lineup of talented musicians offer everything from instrumental brass to jazz, soul, funk, rock, and more.
- From photographs to pottery, textiles of all sorts, headdresses, jewelry, media art, decor, products for the body, and treats for the belly; you never know what you’ll find in theArt Market and Marketplace.
- There’s always something to do at Bayou Boogaloo at the Kids Stage Entertainment offerings, and the arts & crafts tent.
- Satisfy your active spirit at the paddle boat races, bank cleanup activity, hula hoop jam, bubble-making event, and bicycle pub crawl.
- This festival is a FREE EVENT, however Canopy Club Memberships and VIP Memberships are available with various benefits.

NOLA Wine & Food Experience: May 25, 26, 27 & 28, 2017
Known as “the greatest wine & food experience in New Orleans,” the NOLA Wine & Food Experience brings together hundreds of restaurants and wineries to bring their diverse cuisine to your distinguishing palette. Each year, the city’s greatest chefs and area vintners coordinate to offer you tastes of delicious fare and rare wines.
How you experience the event is completely up to you. Choose a wine-and-food pairings tasting; stroll through one of the city’s best areas for food, wine, and shopping with special privileges; a large, under-one-roof tasting experience; and specialty shows, experiences, and dinners. Packages for multiple experiences are also available.
Tickets are available for many of the experiences, with more to be added up to the event weekend itself.
Vinola – $175 (Friday, May 26): Sample rare and highly valued wines from around the world, brought to you by the winemakers themselves. Food samples for the event are offered from participating NOLA restaurants.
Royal Street Stroll – $109-175 (Friday, May 26): Meander along Royal Street, led “parade-style” by members of the Krewe of Cork. Take in the architecture, wander into shops, stop at art galleries, and partake in the food and wine offerings at stops and food tents along the way. (VIP experience available)
Grand Tasting – $119-185 (Saturday, May 27): Mardi Gras World hosts this under-one-roof experience where more than 1000 vintages are available to taste, paired with food samplings from 75+ area chefs and eateries. Meet the winemakers and chefs, and enjoy the visual wonders in the building itself. (VIP experience available)
The Big Gateaux Show – $75-1,000 (Saturday, May 27)
Pastries, cocktails, and burlesque? Don’t mind if we do! This pastry competition features celebrity chefs and judges, while Trixi Minx & Bella Blue entertain. Discover new flavors and new fun! (VIP experience available)
